Of all the sthala puranas my most favorite one is this. Why it is special to me? This perumal is called "Sonna Vannam seitha perumal". The leela happened between Thirumazhisai Alwar, Kani Kannan, Perumal and The King. Here the God went behind Guru, where Guru backed his student and King realized the miracle of Guru. What a Guru story to be told to the people!!!
